Ethiopians sweep Houston Marathon ELSEWHEREHirscher pulls off big slalom comebackMarcel Hirscher turned in a scintillating second run to win a World Cup slalom in Adelboden, Switzerland, after being eighth in the opening leg. Hirscher, the overall World Cup leader, was at least 0.83 of a second faster than any rival in the afternoon to best Austrian teammate Mario Matt by 0.30. In Koenigssee, Germany, World Cup champion Alexander Zubkov won his fifth World Cup four-man race of the season to close the gap on Maximilian Arndt in the standings. Tora Berger of Norway and Martin Fourcade of France both won World Cup races in Ruhpolding, Germany, to extend their leads in the overall standings. Mikhail Jun Devjatiarov teamed with Nikolay Morilov to win a men's team sprint for Russia at a World Cup event in Liberec, Czech Republic. Defending overall World Cup champion Sarah Hendrickson of the United States, who won Saturday's event, was second after jumps of 103 and 101.5 meters for 245.9 points.
