THOMSON, Ga. -- McDuffie County officials will add extra security precautions tonight after fight rumors circulated related to the last Thomson High home football game of the season. School Superintendent Mychelle Rhodes issued a statement today encouraging patrons attending the game against Windsor Forest to arrive early because of several season ending events. She also acknowledged a rumor of potential threats associated with a group of boys from Warren County fighting a group of students in McDuffie Dounty. read more
