The ninth mainline installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, aptly named F9, could be going to space. Rapper and Fast and Furious mainstay Ludacris seemingly alluded to the possibility of space in F9 in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The series has tackled virtually all extremes on earth over the course of its 19-year silver screen life, and fans have wondered if or when the series would finally go to space. After THR's Julia Cunningham imagined a few scenarios for the blockbuster, including space, Ludacris teased the possibility. Cunningham told the actor that she believes him to be alluding to space and it was at that point that Ludacris covered up his mouth with his hand.
