After hearing conflicting accounts of a 2011 confrontation between Houston police and a suicidal teenager, a federal jury Wednesday ruled that the officers were not liable for tasing the teenager in the eye. The verdict hinged on whether jurors believed the distressed 19-year-old posed a threat: Was he brandishing long kitchen knives and screaming in the front yard of his parents' Glenshire home?
