A Friday evening fire caused substantial smoke and other damage to a Vancouver townhome. The fire was reported at 7:21 p.m. at 3734 N.E. Royal View Ave., near the Royal Oaks Country Club. Video posted on the Southwest Emergency Services Alert Facebook page by a witness showed firefighters arrived to find fire coming from the garage area of a newer two-story home that is attached to other homes on either side.
