A Flagler County man was sentenced Friday to 40 years for the May 18, 2011, shooting of his daugther’s grandfather on Leidel Drive in Palm Coast, according to the State Attorney’s Office. William Rayshawn Copeland’s sentence includes a 25-year minimum mandatory after he was convicted last month of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery and shooting into a building, prosecutors said. read more
