After a hot, dry Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop alongside chances of thunderstorms, meteorologists say. "Wednesday will be mainly dry with temperatures just a few degrees cooler than Tuesday's highs," Gazette news partner KKTV reported. "Thursday looks similar but a cold front that will swing through could drop our temperatures for the later part of Thursday and spawn a few isolated storms across the Pikes Peak region Thursday evening." The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 86 degrees Wednesday, 82 degrees Thursday and 77 degrees Friday.
