You can adopt a furry friend for free on Saturday. The Oakland County Animal Control and Adoption Center, 1700 Brown Road in Auburn Hills, has received a grant from the Bissell Pet Foundation covering all adoption fees for one day only. Free adoptions will only be available at the Auburn Hills center, not at any one of the eight outreach centers.
