I have always been grateful for the opportunities that I have here in the U.S., but my time in Guatemala during a recent trip has given me an entirely new perspective. Not only that, but it has shifted my interests and plans for the future.For the past three February breaks, I have traveled to Guatemala with School the World, a Boston-based organization that works to bring quality education to children living in extreme poverty.
