Hunter Biden's trial on gun charges is underway in Delaware. The president's son faces three charges in the case brought by the special counsel. Follow here for the latest live news updates.
WILMINGTON, Del. — A prosecutor said Monday that “no one is above the law” as he urged jurors to convict President Joe Biden’s son Hunter on charges that he lied about his drug use when he bought a gun in 2018.
The evidence is “overwhelming” that Hunter Biden knew he was in the throes of a crack addiction when he marked on a mandatory gun-purchase form that he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs, prosecutor Leo Wise told jurors in his closing argument.
The prosecutor acknowledged the intensely personal evidence that laid bare some of the darkest moments of Hunter Biden’s drug-fueled past.

Former President Trump is scheduled to sit for a virtual interview on Monday with a New York City probation officer from his home at Mar-a-Lago with his attorney Todd Blanche at his side after he was found guilty on all counts in the hush money trial against him last month, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.
Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was convicted last month on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the historic case.
