The Texas Transportation Commission approved billions of dollars worth of additional projects at a meeting March 28, and Houston is getting a major chunk. The Houston Chronicle reports$8.9 billion has been approved for 230 projects statewide as part of Texas’ unified transportation plan, which is updated in phases each year. The plan guides the state’s highway, maritime and aviation spending. About $1.32 billion of the funding will go to Houston — most of which will go toward a major overhaul…

Einride has partnered with Jebel Ali Port in Dubai as part of its ambitious plan to build the world’s largest autonomous trucking network. The Swedish freight mobility startup has signed a deal with DP World, which handles logistics at the port — the world’s 10th busiest.
