MODENA - Hurds Family Farm will be hosting a duck derby fundraiser to benefit the Plattekill Library from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 1 on Route 32 in Modena.The event will promote agriculture and literacy, featuring the season opening of the farm’s “ABC’s of Agriculture Trail,” welcoming back the farm animals and farm-themed children’s storytime at 10 a.m.
