Husson University in Bangor continues to fill its 2020 men’s basketball recruiting class. The Eagles have announced a commitment from Jeremy Moronta of Brooklyn, New York. Moronta is a 5-foot-9 guard who was instrumental in helping Transit Tech Career and Technical Education High School to a 20-4 record during the 2019-2020 season. Transit Tech has a direct connection to Maine as the team is coached by Presque Isle native Ken Hafford. “Jeremy is a quick combo guard who is very active,” Husson head coach Warren Caruso said.
