HealthKit may record a lot of data, but until third party apps can access it, it will sit lazily on a figurative couch. Andrew Cunningham On Wednesday morning, apps designed to connect to the new iOS HealthKit framework were set to launch alongside the brand new iOS 8, but those apps, hungry for your data about calories and fitness progress, apparently hadn't laced their jogging shoes.
