Mathieu Perreault had two assists in the three-goal second period and Michael Hutchinson made 20 saves to help the Jets won for the second time in two nights. Tlusty — with Trouba's assistance, cut the lead to a goal at 12:53, but Ladd beat Schneider from the right circle off a nice cross-ice pass by Perreault. Rookie Nikolaj Ehlers picked up his first NHL point with the primary assist on Scheifele goal.
