Stories Related to Judge Maintains Sentences For Utash Defendants Cummings, Davis

Despite previous protests from the prosecution, a Wayne County judge Friday maintained the earlier sentences he handed to two of the defendants for their roles in the mob beating of Steven Utash.Circuit Judge James A. Callahan re-sentenced Latrez Cummings, 19, to three years of probation, with the first six months to be served in the Wayne County Jail.
