The interim superintendent the Kaneland school board hired Monday is quitting. School board President Cheryl Krauspe confirmed Wednesday that Ken Sorrick has submitted a letter of resignation. She said, via email, that the board will meet Tuesday in closed session to accept the resignation and discuss how to proceed in naming a new interim superintendent.
