LANCASTER - A man says he stole two goats to make his girlfriend happy but shot and killed the animals after they butted his pickup truck. Calvin Flahart pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals on Thursday in Lancaster County Court. A prosecutor says Flahart stole the goats and some farm equipment from a barn in Martic Township in January 2009.
