In 1986 The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers constructed eight pitching courts at the Allen County Fairgrounds. This was done with volunteer labor and donations with no cost to the fair board. For the last 30 years we have held tournaments and casual pitching almost every evening while the fair was open to anyone that wanted to participate.
