I read that four of Vancouver Public Schools’ high schools will have turf fields installed, paid for by the last bond measure (see fort.vansd.org/new-turf-fields/). I found this interesting. I supported the bond and encouraged others to, as well. What brought about my desire for it to pass? Quite simply, my son goes to Hough Elementary School, which doesn’t have an adequate playground for the children to play in.
