David Nierenberg is a smart guy. It is disingenuous for his letter on Jan. 9 to praise Jaime Herrera Beutler for the idea of the Democrats giving on border security and the Republicans giving on DACA, when that was actually agreed to by Trump and six bipartisan senators in 2018.
