The Little Mermaid live-action adaptation could nab another singer-turned-actor, this time for the role of Prince Eric. According to The Hollywood Reporter, former One Direction singer Harry Styles is in early negotiations to play Prince Eric in the upcoming Little Mermaid live-action movie. If cast, he will play the love interest opposite Ariel, played by singer-actor Halle Bailey. Styles would be another singer to join the cast after Bailey and would further strengthen the upcoming live-action film's musical bonafides.
