AUGUSTA — Two Maine groups are getting nearly $250,000 to support maritime history preservation projects. U.S. Sen. Susan Collins and Sen. Angus King said the National Park Service, partnering with the Maritime Administration, has granted the Wood Island Life Saving Station Association in Kittery $200,000 to repair and preserve the life saving station.
