A 46-year-old man perished in a fire Friday morning at a Miami Gardens home, according Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.<p/> The man's name was Torry Washington, according to family members. His niece, Lisa Torres, 18, tried to save him from his burning bedroom but could not get him out.
