BOSTON — The rising price of crude oil as well as the increased costs of refining summer blends has sent Massachusetts gasoline prices soaring.AAA Northeast announced Monday that its weekly survey found that the average price of self-serve, regular in the Bay State is up 12 cents per gallon in the past week to $2.46, the highest of the year.Prices are now 14 cents higher per gallon than a month ago, but still $1.14 lower than at the same time last year.The Massachusetts average is also the same as the national average.
