Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the action adventure role-playing game inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings  from Monolith Productions, won Game of the Year at tonight’s Game Developers Choice Awards. Celebrated veteran game designer and developer veteran Brenda Romero was honored with The Ambassador Award, an accolade bestowed upon individuals who have “helped the game industry advance to a better place, either through facilitating a better game community from within, or by reaching outside the industry to be an advocate for video games and help further our art.” Continue reading…
