STOCKTON — The Head Start Child Development Council, Inc., may have to suspend operations Wednesday if the agency does not receive written confirmation that funding from the new grantee will be distributed by Tuesday evening.This does not mean the Head Start preschools will close, because the San Joaquin County Office of Education is going to oversee the Head Start Program as of Wednesday.
