TV Ratings: Dipping Pro Bowl Tops Night, 'Good Wife' Hits Low

The 2013 Pro Bowl gave NBC a win among adults 18-49 and total viewers on Sunday night. Fast National returns are approximate, but before time zone adjustments the NFC-AFC matchup pulled a 3.3 rating in the key demo. That's down 8 percent from last year's game. With the pre-game special (3.0 adults), the network averaged a 3.3 adults rating and 9.9 million viewers.

 

‘Game of Thrones’ second season finale attracts more than 4 million

Sunday’s second-season finale of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” clocked 4.2 million viewers at 9 p.m.  – 1.2 million ahead of the first-season finale crowd of 3 mil. At 4.2 million, the “GoT” episode’s 9 p.m. telecast was on par in the hour with ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” (4.3 million), CBS’s “The Good Wife” rerun (4.6 million), and ahead of Fox’s repeats of “Family Guy” and “American Dad” (3.6 million), while running behind NBC’s “Miss USA Pageant (5.8 million).

Peabody Award Winners 2010: NPR, PBS, CNN, C-SPAN, 'Good Wife,' HBO And More Win Prestigious Awards

The winners of the 2010 Peabody Awards include some of the biggest names in television, though the age-old medium of radio shined this year with eight awards. Winners announced Thursday by the University of Georgia include "The Moth Radio Hour," which celebrates storytelling, and WNYC's series "Radiolab," a scientific exploration show. Others include "Trafficked," a Youth Radio investigation into child sex-trafficking with vivid first-person accounts.

In her first TV series gig since the end of Ugly Betty, the ABC dramedy's star America Ferrera is set to do an arc on CBS' legal drama The Good Wife<
