US wins gold, beats Spain 107-100 in men's hoops

Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant scored 30 points, LeBron James added 19 and the U.S. men's basketball team defended its Olympic title, holding off stubborn Spain 107-100 on Sunday for the gold medal -- just as the Americans did in 2008.

US men beat France 98-71 in Olympic basketball

The hiccups outnumbered the highlights, and for a while the U.S. racked up fouls faster than points. The opener wasn't artistic. However, it was enough - easily enough. Kevin Durant scored 22 points in his Olympic debut, Kevin Love added 14 and LeBron James had eight assists as the American men's basketball team overcame some sloppy moments with a 98-71 win Sunday over France.

NBA Finals: OKC, You Let Me Down

NBA Champions: Lebron James & Dwayne Wade

Between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder, I was rooting for the team in a small town. I was also rooting against Lebron James.

Big Three land the Big One! Heat NBA champions

Miami Heat

With series MVP LeBron James leading the way with a triple-double, the Heat finish off the Thunder 121-106 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, now 2011-12 NBA champions.

Senh: Here's my response: "Oh well, James finally got his championship. He definitely earned it. He’s improved his game. He’s a better post player, a better shooter, a better defender, and a better clutch player. He’s improved all facets of his game at a time when he’s already considered the best. But having grown up in a small town, I can’t forgive him for leaving Cleveland for greener pastures in Miami. Sorry, just can’t. Chris Webber, when he ws entering his prime, didn’t leave Sacramento to get a championship with another team. There’s something to be said for loyalty (and max contracts)."

James scores 29, Heat rally past Thunder 91-85

It's there every day for LeBron James and the Heat - the sting of last year's NBA Finals loss. Two more wins and it will be a distant memory. James had 29 points and 14 rebounds, and the Miami Heat took a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals with a 91-85 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. Dwyane Wade had 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Heat, who were in this same position through three games last year, then didn't win again against the Dallas Mavericks.

2012 NBA Finals: Miami holds off comeback by Oklahoma City to win Game 2, 100-96

NBA Finals: Lebron James

LeBron James didn’t take his talents to South Beach to be a solo act again. He joined forces with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh because he believed that he couldn’t fulfill his championship dreams all by himself.

Durant powers Thunder past LeBron's Heat 105-94

NBA Finals: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat

Kevin Durant delivered the fourth quarter LeBron James never could last year. So forget those NBA Finals jitters at the start. Durant and the young Thunder showed they have already figured out how to finish. Durant scored 17 of his 36 points in another nightmarish final period for James and his team, leading a Thunder storm that overwhelmed the Heat and gave Oklahoma City a 105-94 victory over Miami in Game 1 on Tuesday night.

Celtics vs. Heat

LeBron James finally got a Game 7 victory, on his third try...
