Oregon's incredible offense busted up Wisconsin and the record books on the way to the Ducks' first Rose Bowl victory in 95 years. Darron Thomas passed for three touchdowns, De'Anthony Thomas scored on runs of 91 and 64 yards, and the No. 6 Ducks earned their first bowl victory under coach Chip Kelly, holding off Wisconsin 45-38 Monday night in the highest-scoring Rose Bowl ever played.

 

Ducks dominate, hand No. 3 Stanford first loss

No. 6 Oregon ran over No. 3 Stanford and all but ended the Cardinal's hopes for a BCS title spot. LaMichael James ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns as Oregon ran for more than 200 yards in a 53-30 win Saturday night.

Oregon puts 72-0 beating on New Mexico

Oregon managed just fine without offensive stars Jeremiah Masoli and LaMichael James in its season opener Saturday. Kenjon Barner scored five touchdowns in place of the suspended James, and Darron Thomas threw two touchdowns in place of the dismissed Masoli as the Ducks blew out New Mexico, 72-0, in Eugene, Ore. Barner ran for four touchdowns and caught a TD pass in the Ducks 59-point first half. He compiled 225 yards of total offense.
