Center Matt Lee spent only one season at Miami, but he made a big impact. Lee, who transferred from UCF before the 2023 season, anchored the Hurricanes’ offensive line for a season, and now he is going to the NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals picked Lee with the 237th pick in the seventh round of the draft on Saturday. Lee was the third Hurricane to be picked in this year’s draft, following safety Kam Kinchens and cornerback Jaden Davis. Lee, an Oviedo native, was an unheralded prospect out of Hagerty High.

The Cleveland Browns picked the former Miramar cornerback with the 227th pick in the seventh round of the NFL draft on Saturday. He is the third Broward County player picked in this year’s draft, following Dallas Turner, Brandon Dorlus and Jaden Davis. Harden was a solid player for the Patriots, earning a Sun Sentinel All-County honorable mention in 2018 and first-team honors in 2019.
