Mitchell Gleason, of Ives Street, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, among other charges, after police said he was found hiding along Elizabeth Street in the downtown at around 9:30 p.m. Gleason ran from police after he was discovered but was quickly taken into custody. Police said Gleason attempted to throw away a small amount of marijuana during the ordeal and is also facing a drug possession charge.
