Amarillo police are combing a section of the Avondale neighborhood searching for a suspect in a home break-in Friday morning. Officers set up staging areas about 11:15 a.m. at the intersections of Beverly Street and Southeast 11th and Southeast 12th avenues and Rosemont Street and the two avenues. The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male with curly hair. Details of the break-in were not immediately available. Check amarillo.com later for more details.
