A Tuesday night fire at H.S. Crocker, a custom label printer in Huntley, resulted in no injuries thanks in part to the quick actions of employees, Huntley Fire officials said Wednesday. Huntley Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Al Schlick said crews were dispatched about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday for an activated fire alarm in the 12000 block of Smith Drive. Crews arrived to discover one of the company’s printing presses had caught fire and employees had already put it out with a fire extinguisher. “The staff was trained and they had proper fire extinguishers,” Schlick said.
