The Neches River Festival Parade scheduled for Saturday is canceled because of high probability of rain, predicted to be 80 percent during the day, according to the National Weather Service. The parade will not be rescheduled this year. Rain chances also have postponed the Beaumont Police Department's Cops & Kids Carnival, which would been on the Great Lawn at the Event Centre. The carnival will take place at a later date that hasn't yet been determined.
