The South Charleston Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation has awarded almost $5,000 in funds to various school projects during the final quarter of 2014. The grant recipients include: • Dunbar Intermediate School received funding for the purchase of midi keyboards to be used in music classes. • Montrose Elementary received funding for the purchase of books for its after-school book club, as well as monies to assist with the purchase of materials for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects.
