Similar Stories to Scammers Posing As Soldiers Are At It Again, Army Warns on Bing News

Scammers posing as soldiers are again out in force looking for love online, the Army's Criminal Investigation Command reports. In a news release the command said it is getting frequent complaints from women duped out of cash by phony troops. Perpetrators use social media and dating websites to find victims, the command said. After sending a few sweet nothings, the scammers quickly go for the money. "We cannot stress enough that people need to stop sending money to persons they meet on the Internet and claim to be in the U.S.
