(AP) — The Humane Society of South Mississippi is providing shelter in Gulfport to more than 100 dogs rescued from suspected puppy mills in Alcorn County. Humane Society of the United States spokeswoman Kaitlin Sanderson says in addition to 123 dogs and puppies, the rescuers found cats, horses, ducks, chickens, roosters, bunnies, goats, a donkey and a miniature pig on one of the properties.
