SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Firefighters will be flushing fire hydrants for maintenance and flow testing starting Monday, May 8 and continuing throughout the month, according to the Shawnee Township Fire Department. The process may cause the water to become discolored, which is normal but can create a problem for residents washing laundry at the time.
