Despite the efforts of groups like Zero1 and companies such as Facebook to bring art to their streets and campuses, Silicon Valley hasn’t quite fostered visual culture as well as it could. Showcasing galleries from here and abroad and working with Zero1, the San Francisco Art Dealers Association and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, among others, this year’s art fair strives to make a splash with a new media exhibit curated by Christine Duval and a site-specific performance piece by Walter & Zoniel that promises to get the audience involved. Art Silicon Valley/San Francisco: 6-7:30 p.m.
