PONTOTOC – Federal authorities have released a composite sketch of the suspect wanted in connection to the recent Randolph Post Office armed robbery. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service released Sunday afternoon the sketch of one of the suspects believed to be involved in the Friday armed robbery. Federal authorities released this sketch of the suspect believed to be involved in the recent armed robbery of the Randolph Post Office. The suspects are a white male and white female, according to information released by Postal Inspector Tony Robinson on Sunday. Authorities are offering up to a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects connected to the robbery. Residents with information are encouraged to call postal inspectors at 1-877-876-2455 or the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department at 662-489-3631. Postmaster Virginia Duff was reportedly wounded in the arm as she fled the Randolph Post Office during the attempted robbery. Randolph restaurant owner Tammy Lindsey said on Friday that Duff burst into her business, bleeding and begging for help. “(Duff) said a man had jumped over the post office counter demanding money,” Lindsey said.
