ROAD RACING Online registration for 4,000 slots in the TD Beach to Beacon 10K road race filled in 19 minutes on Friday morning. Friday was the second day of registration, after 600 entries reserved for Cape Elizabeth residents were filled Thursday morning. A lottery for an additional 1,950 race bibs began after the 4,000 slots available Friday were filled. Race organizers used a new “controlled queue entry” system during registration to reduce technical problems that created frustration for many people last year. This year’s race will be held Aug.
