Stage Stores, the owner of Palais Royal, announced Wednesday it will consolidate its Houston headquarters operations into one location and expects to begin the move during the fourth quarter of this year. The retailer operates 850 department stores in 40 states under the Bealls, Goody's, Peebles, Stage and Palais Royal brands.
