Stories Related to Sustaining The Arts: Fellowship Helps Students

Jennifer Niswonger had nightmares about dead deer when she was young. Her family hunted them and then would hang the deer on a tree to drain their blood. Seeing the creature hang lifelessly from the branches always creeped her out. Now, years later, Niswonger has revisited her childhood horror to help illuminate the contentious topics of her artwork.
