Stories Related to Tacoma Medical Firm To Pay $14 Million To Settle Billing Case

Sound Inpatient Physicians of Tacoma has agreed to pay a $14 million penalty to settle claims it overbilled Medicare and other health-care programs, federal authorities said Wednesday.<p/>Federal investigators contended the firm knowingly submitted inflated claims from 2004 to 2012, the U. S. Justice department reported.
