The Philadelphia Flyers know they can do it. They just can't afford to think about it - not yet, at least. For the second consecutive year, the Flyers have spotted Boston a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals. Last year, Philadelphia won the next four games to eliminate the Bruins on its way to the Stanley Cup finals.

 

Krejci, Thomas lead Bruins past Flyers

David Krejci scored 14:01 into overtime and the Boston Bruins beat Philadelphia 3-2 on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Simon Gagne traded the crutches and protective boot for a stick and skates. The Flyers are glad he did. Gagne made a gutsy return to the lineup, scoring in overtime to help the Philadelphia Flyers hold off elimination by beating the Boston Bruins 5-4 on Friday night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals
