US wholesale prices rise 0.1 percent in June

U.S. wholesale prices rose only slightly last month, as higher costs for food and pickup trucks offset another drop in energy prices. But overall inflation stayed mild.

 

Wholesale inflation surged in February

Wholesale prices surged last month at their fastest pace in just over 1-1/2 years due to higher energy costs and the steepest rise in food prices in 36 years.

 

Wholesale prices rise for 7th straight month

Wholesale prices rose sharply in January due to higher costs for gas, pharmaceuticals and other goods. Excluding the volatile food and energy categories, wholesale prices rose by the most since October 2008.
