MONTICELLO - A Sullivan County man on parole was sentenced Wednesday to eight years in state prison for possession of an illegal handgun.Victor Medina, 44, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and admitted to possessing a loaded .25 caliber handgun in a car that was stopped by state police on Route 17 in February last year, according to a news release from Sullivan County District Attorney James Farrell.His sentence [...]
