SAYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Police on Long Island say an 18-month-old girl is in serious condition after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool. The child was found at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in a family's pool in Sayville. Police officers and emergency workers performed CPR on the child before taking her to a hospital. The child is currently in serious condition at Stony Brook University Hospital.
