WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have identified a man who was killed when he tried to cross a Wilmington Street. Troopers said in a news release Thursday that 76-year-old Ramon Miranda of West Grove, Pennsylvania, died when he was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon on Foulk Road. Police say Miranda was trying to cross the road when he stepped directly into the path of a car. Authorities say the car, driven by 36-year-old Edward Culver of Wilmington, hit Miranda, throwing him to the ground. Miranda was pronounced dead at the scene.
